Five Tenets of Unity
1. God is goodness itself and active in everything, everywhere.
Acknowledging that that is it impossible to describe God with language, we will say these things. It is truly all Good. God is Goodness itself; all Good comes from God.
God is in everything and everywhere and beyond that in ways we cannot conceive. God is a verb! This dynamic creation is in and part of what we are calling God.
2. I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.
As children of God, we inherit this goodness, but we have free will. We can forget the Truth of who we are relate to the world from this darkness. Ours is to remember to see the Divine Light in ourselves and in everyone, without exception.
3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
Jesus taught us to be transformed by the renewal of our consciousness. When we do this, we live in a state where we know the Divine Wil in our lives. We experience the gifts of Spirit such as Joy, Peace & Love.
4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
When we pray, we make a connection through the Divine in us to the Divine Oneness. This is our avenue to knowing oneness and realizing the gifts of the Spirit which are our inheritance.
5. I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference!
From the place of Oneness, knowing the presence of God in us and everyone, we move forward in life. We do what is ours to do. We are being the change we want to see in the world.
Living Goodness is everywhere.
I participate in the Good.
I am creative;
My thoughts create my experiences.
I feel connection to the Divine within me.
I do what is mine to do!
